FAQs
Will the treatment hurt? Your Ultra -peel treatment will not be painful. During the peel you may experience a tingling sensation. This is because the products are working to exfoliate down to the deepest layers of your skin. As your therapist I will ensure you are comfortable at all times during your treatment.
Will my skin be red afterwards? It is likely that you will experience some redness following your treatment but it would be likened to redness if you were hot rather than the ‘raw skin’ look that people are often worried about when having peels. Any redness should subside after a few hours. There is no down time following the treatment, meaning you can continue as usual, you will just need to use spf and avoid make up and heat treatments for a limited time.
How often do I need a Ultra -peel? You can either book an individual treatment or a course of 4. After just one treatment you will see results but for client’s who wish to target specific skin conditions or see optimal results I highly recommend a course. You should then have a monthly treatment as maintenance.
Is Ultra -peel suitable for all skin types and ages? As with any treatment, chemical peels do have contra-indications which prevent clients from being able to have the treatment. When you book a peel these will be discussed to ensure the treatment is suitable for your skin type but most clients will be absolutely fine to go ahead.
